So I haven't done any writing for a few days because of this fluey cold horribleness I must've caught from the kids I've been teaching science. Last night I woke up at about 3 in the morning with an idea for a brilliantly brilliant comedy sketch. Unforunately i was rolled the wrong way - ie, NOT facing the direction of my pen and paper. Fortunately though, I have a dictaphone for just such an emergency. UNfortunately, it too was on the bedside watsit, with my pen and paper. I decided I'd remember the amazing sketch in the morning and nodded back off to sleep. It's now 20 to 11 at night and I still can't remember the bloody thing!
Another thing is I upgraded my mobile phone (the proper name for a "cell-phone") during the week and got myself an iphone 3GS (used to have an LG Viewity). So i've been playing around with it and my new best mate ever ;) advised me to download "Whatsapp" messenger on it. It's brilliant but unfortunately, where the novelty is still fresh and exciting for me, I can't say my mates feel the same way. Infact, the sheer lack of response indicates that I may have become a slight burden *lol*. Ah well, you only live once. Well, unless you're Budhist.
Ooh something else - I spent ages learning how to transfer stuff from my old pod onto my phone via the computer without deleting everything. Yeah ok, you can tut but i'm not very good with technology. Infact, to be honest, I bloody hate technology. So anyhoo, I managed it and spent about 3 days downloading loads of music from cds onto my phone, vetting it as I went so it was stuff I actually like this time rather than just doing the whole shebang. Within minutes of "completing" this mission I'd chosen to accept, I was already deciding what to take off.
I hate technology!
