UFO SIGHTING!!!

When I go to bed, I like to sleep with my blinds open (Yes "blinds" - not curtains!!! get with the program people!!!) so that when I can't sleep I can stare up at the stars and slowly nod off.

So the other night I couldn't sleep. I lay in bed staring up at the stars - much like I just describe not 3 minutes ago in my introduction up there ^^^. See it? Anyhoo, as I was laying there gazing up at the heavens, an odd red glow caught my attention. I lay there for some time staring at it. Stationary in the night sky, and my other window was open so I knew it was making no sound so it definitely wasn't a helicopter. Eventually I must've nodded off because the next thing I remember was waking up some time later - still in the dark early hours of the morning, and seeing the eery red dot still there in the night sky, staring down at me. Not moving - not even flickering. Just hanging there. I finally fell asleep again and woke up the next day, went to work, etc etc. That night I couldn't sleep again. As I gazed out of the window - there it was AGAIN! That same red light hanging there in the sky, in EXACTLY the same part of the sky. Needless to say, this freaked me out a tad. Was I the only eye witness to the coming Marsian fleet, researching the human race in preparation for an all out attack to suck our brains and ride our women? (or ride our brains and suck our women - whichever you prefer)...I sat up in bed, opened the window in a vain attempt to get a closer look. It was gone. It vanished into nothingness as quick as you can say "it's vanished into nothingness". I closed the window slightly and lay back down again. Gazing up at the heavens - THERE IT WAS!!! this time without moving from my pillow, so as not to scare the Marsians away again, I examined the light as best I could. Could I see a feint outline of a craft around it? No! Could I see any other lights attached? No! Could I hear even the feintest, tiniest sound from it? NO! One thing was for certain - it wasn't an Earth-made craft.

Upon later inspection I discovered it to be the reflection on my video stand-by light reflecting on my window.

Twat!
